走走看看 - 好像在旅行

儿童博物馆
他就是在这里，在回家的路上，睡着了。博物馆里有一个电动钢琴，有人放了5毛钱进去，钢琴弹起来，靖恒蛮喜欢的。

The Museum of Childhood at Royal Mile. Ethan was quite facinated, though it was a rather rush trip and we did not visit every exhibit as we reached there one hour before the closing time,which is 5pm.

苏格兰国家博物馆
这是一个小朋友挺喜欢去的地方。大厅中间有小喷泉，里头有鱼儿，还有一个大时钟，特定时间会转动，发出声音。只带靖恒到动物和科学的部门去看看。他对那些栩栩如生的动物很兴奋。

We reached the National Museum of Scotland at Chambers Street in the afternoon on a rather cloudy, cold and blustery Saturday. Inside, it was bustling with kids, bright and warm. A welcome change. We only visited the British Animals gallery and 'Connect' gallery, which is all about Science. Ethan was very animated with the taxidermic exhibits.

花园与喷泉
星期天到那儿的时候，已5点了，工作人员在赶人离开花园，要关门了（花园也关门！）。我们匆匆拍了几张照，带靖恒去看了看喷泉，回家了。

We reached Princes Street Gardens just before it closed on a Sunday. The park wardens were beginning to chase people off the grounds. So we just walked through the upper terrace, took a few shots here and there and a quick detour down to the fountain.

星期四我们又到喷泉去，6点才关，所以我们有些时间，便在那儿的游乐场留连了一下。


This time, it's a Thursday and the park closes only at 6pm. So Ethan had fun at the playground, and at the pressure of the park wardens to chase us out (again), he still managed to catch a glimsp of the trains passing through the park as well.

坟场
这儿有一个埋葬许多名人的坟场。8/10带他去图书馆之后，反正在附近，便到坟场走了一圈。

Greyfriars Kirk provides a nice walk (really!) through lots of tombstones. I had to keep Ethan from going onto the grass patches, where the graves are. But we had a rather pleasant short stroll there before continuing homeward from our second visit to the Children's Library.
