Culross
My sis came over for the weekend and we took a whirlwind trip to Culross, a village about 1 hour's ride north of Edinburgh and by the Firth of Forth. And what a whirlwind it was. We set out after lunch, reached there about 2 hours later (given the driving, and having made a few wrong turns), spent about 2 hours exploring the little village where almost everything was closed, and then drove back home. It was also a very windy day, with the wind speed at around 60 mph, and very cold. When I first got out of the car, I just wanted to get back in again. Took me some courage to get out again. I didn't even wish to venture near the coast, so all the coastal pictures were taken by my sis.

Well, it was ok. I think the kids (especially Jethro when he was released) enjoyed it most when they were at the green open space with the playground on our way back to the car park. :)
