Some Home-grown tastes

The banana cake - one of the nicest recipes I have tried. Bing, if you want, can pass you the link, then you can make for Mother and she won't criticise at all!

Hmm.. i see the banana bits on the cakes.. it doesn't look very nice leh.. but still, give me the recipe bah.. i 'itching' to make cakes liao and so far, all my banana cakes don't taste good.. hee..

ok, this gives me the chance to explain the banana bits on the cake. Remember i had to do this with a crying jethro nearby, i really didn't have the luxury of decorating it nicely. Was thinking of omitting the banana slices on top at first, but they actually add some texture to the cake and improve the taste. of course, the main thing is the mashed banana in the cake...
